What Makes a Great Place to Work: Â鶹ÊÓƵ Awarded Great Place to Work® Certification

We're happy to announce that Â鶹ÊÓƵ has been awarded a Great Place to Work Certification® for 2022! Since this award is given to companies based on an employee-driven survey, we are pleased to see that so many of our staff love working here.

In light of this achievement, we wanted to take a chance to reflect on our company culture by discussing what we think defines a great place to work and sharing our company's six core values, something we like to call "The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Way".

First - What Defines a Great Place To Work?

At Â鶹ÊÓƵ, we believe that a great place to work is defined by several equally essential factors. As can be reflected by our staff's high rating of Â鶹ÊÓƵ on the Great Places to Work® survey, these factors listed below are what we think constitutes some of the most important aspects of employee satisfaction in the workplace:

1. Capacity for Remote Work

First, having the choice to work in person or remotely is an important aspect of life at Â鶹ÊÓƵ. For a bunch of different personal and logistical reasons, it's difficult for every single staff member to come into our awesome office 5 days a week. In understanding that, our workplace model supports both in-person and remote work, allowing our staff to be in a space that's most convenient to them and where they feel most productive.

2. Working Flexible Hours

At Â鶹ÊÓƵ we believe that allowing for flexibility in the hours that our employees' work can provide everyone with the opportunity to properly balance both their work-life and personal priorities. This rings especially true for those with children or other dependants that they care for.

3. Comfortable Work Environment

When our staff starts their workday, we want everyone to truly feel at home. No matter their surroundings, whether it's in-office or remotely, we make sure that Â鶹ÊÓƵ staff always have the feeling that they're comfortable working wherever they may be.

4. Our People & Culture

We pride ourselves on the team of amazing people that we've built over the years since that's what makes worthy of a Great Place to Work® Certification. As a part of our hiring process, a culture check from management ensures that our new additions will work to make Â鶹ÊÓƵ and its culture so welcoming and supportive.

As a part of maintaining a great culture for our staff, Â鶹ÊÓƵ organizes a bunch of fun in-person and remote events. For example, Â鶹ÊÓƵ staff have the chance to come together at events like a virtual cocktail tutorial and team jigsaw puzzle, ping pong tournaments, in-person team lunches and dinners, and office parties that feature food trucks and cornhole.

This is all reflective of our company culture and of our core values, or as we like to call them, "The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Way".

The Pillars of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Way

The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Way is our set of core company values that we exhibit in everything we do. In fact, these core values of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Way are so important to us that every work meeting starts with reviewing them. Everyone that works under the Â鶹ÊÓƵ name has these core values in mind.

Below are the characteristics and traits of The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Way:

As proud as we are to have been given the Great Place to Work Certification® for 2022, we know that there's still work to be done. But by keeping our workplace great, maintaining our fantastic company culture, and sticking to the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Way, we know we're on the right path.
